Valley Center wrestlers won both duals of the night over Hutchinson 59-28 and then Maize South 78-30 on the Varsity side. Many of the JV squad also got some matches to showcase a wrapup to the end of their season. To finish out the week the team has 3 more solid days of practice before traveling to Salina for the League Tournament that will be a battle to the end to take home the title as the team now stands with an 11-1 dual record. Asaph Ramos with a tough fought match to not give up team points, Enrique Helguera with a shot to a cradle just as drilled in practice, and Alex Barajas with a routine snap to a bulldog. Colt Phillips undefeated on the day as well as Mattix Cotlar, Enrique Helguera, Rowan Wilson, Lyle Heck, Karson Spall, Ever Morales, Barry Mosqueda, Cade Carpenter, and Noah Mays. Saturday meet starts at 8:30 at Salina South Middle School for Varsity.
