Valley Center High School's Boys' basketball team is gearing up for a new season. They're eager to build on their experiences from the previous year. Our outlook for the upcoming season is highly positive, with a well-rounded team led by five experienced seniors—Doc Needham, Austin Saner, Bryson Saner, Colby Newton, and Corben Burgess. With a roster featuring talent from sophomores through seniors, we bring both depth and a blend of energy and experience to each game.

Defensively, our focus is on playing tough and consistently dominating the boards, making rebounding a priority to control possession and dictate the pace. Offensively, we’re committed to pushing the ball, creating fast-break opportunities, and keeping opponents on their heels. Our goals are to strengthen our defense, dominate the boards, move the ball effectively on offense, and, above all, work as a cohesive unit to achieve a successful season.

The Hornets Open their season on December 12th here in Valley against Winfield.
