The Hornets traveled to Goddard Eisenhower on Tuesday night. The Hornets struggled to locate 3 point shooters early and gave up way too many transition and second chance points in the first half. The Hornets trailed 49-37 at halftime. The Hornets played better defensively in the second half, but failed to get any closer than 8 points. The Hornets ended up losing by a final of 86-77. Austin Saner had a season high 24 points to lead the Hornets. Colby Newton was the second leading scorer with 13 points. Doc Needhman chipped in 11 points and Preston Looney added 9 points to round out the top scorers. Colby and Austin were the leading rebounders with 4 each.

The Hornets final home game will be this Friday against Salina Central.
