8th Grade A:
The 8th Grade A team won vs Andover on Monday 30-28. I was really proud of how hard the guys played throughout the game. The game was back and forth throughout and every time Andover made a run we answered right back. The boys executed down the stretch and Luke Simmons had a big offensive rebound and put back in the 4th quarter to put the Hornets back on top for good. The leading scorers for the game were: Andreus Eshleman 9, Cage Newton 9, Luke Simmons 5, Christian Fowler 5, Braylen Neal 2.

8th Grade B:
The 8th grade B team lost to Andover on Monday night 28-10. The boys came out and played hard throughout the game. The team was competing at a high level and I was proud of the boys for that. The main issue was the team did not rebound very well and finishing layups was a problem. However, both of those are correctable and I'm actually excited to see how the team responds on Thursday vs Derby. The team was led in scoring by: Lane Loganbill 4, Cavion Williams 2, Gavin Enriquez 2, Savionn Foster 2.

7th Grade A Write Up:
The VC 7th grade A team lost 55-31 to a hot shooting Andover team on Monday Night. They hit six three pointers and out rebounded the Hornets 26 to 19. Tristan Tucker led the Hornets with 11 points and Caden Spangler had 7 Rebounds. Other scorers for the Hornets were: Mason Schielke 7, Isaac Duncan 5, Caden Spangler 4, Kylin Stephens 2, Karson Spall 2.

7th Grade B Write up:
The B Team lost 37 -17. Trevor Russell and Jaxton Taufest led the Hornets in scoring with 4 points each. Jake Holcolmb was the leading rebounder with 6!
The Hornets travel to Derby on Thursday for their next game! Both teams have a 1-1 Record! Other scorers for the Hornets were: Hunter Swingle 3, Maddox Tah 2, Khiylon Wooten 2, Jake Holcolmb 2.
