The 8th Grade A team lost to Hutchinson Thursday night 34-23. The team came out not shooting well and went down early and we just weren't able to overcome the early deficit. I felt like the boys played extremely hard throughout the game and I was actually proud of how much we improved in the game as demonstrated by the team scoring 14 points in the 4th quarter. The Hornets were led in scoring by: Andreus Eshleman 9, Christian Fowler 5, Savion Foster 5, Cage Newton 3, Braylen Neal 1.


The 8th Grade B team won vs Hutchinson 26-10 on Thursday night. The boys came out and didn't play well the first few minutes of the game. However, once the boys calmed down the team took control in the second quarter to lead the game at halftime by 7. The team then came out and pushed the lead to 11 and never looked back. I was proud of how well the team played defensively and how unselfish the boys were on offense. The Hornets leading scorers in the game were: Savion Foster 11, Cavion Williams 6, Kade Avila 3, Layne Loganbill 2, Cameron Poole 2, Carter Nation 2.

7th Grade A team game:
The Hornets never trailed in their 46-21 victory over Hutchinson Middle School on Thursday night.

Tristan scored 11 points to lead the Hornets.

Leading 8-2, the team went on a 17 point run to pull further away. The Hornets had a strong first half, leading 28-7 at halftime and never looked back securing the victory.

The team scored at will in the paint. They went 15-22 on twos. The team shot well from distance as well going 3-9 from three. Additional scorers for the team were: Blake T. 8, Caden S. 7, Mason S 7, Karson S 7, Caden S 4, Kylin S, Carson S 1.

The B team won vs Hutchinson on Thursday as well. THE B TEAM ALSO PLAYED GREAT DEFENSE & WAS LED BY MADDOX TAH WITH 10 POINTS,
