The freshmen girls team picked up their first win of the season against Liberal Tuesday 45-18. A dominant first quarter ended with the home team up 15-2. Aggressive defense led to fast-break opportunities and the Hornets capitalized. Scoring was lead by Dylan Cummings with 12 points in only two quarters of play. Kora Teter added 10, Leah Hamm 8, Payton Carrillo 6, Bailey Freeman 4, Morgan Morris 3 and Binni Effland chipped in 2.

The JV squad notched a win against the Liberal Redskins 59-23. Pressure defense held Liberal under 10 points in each quarter while the Hornets scored double figures every frame posting 19 in the 3rd quarter. Dylan Cummings lead the way with an impressive 26 points. Cassidy Child scored 8, Brooklyn Pritchard 6, Abreya Perry 6, Kora Teter 5, Katie Anderson 2, Chalyn Boone 2, Leah Hamm 2 and Taylor McDonald 2.
