As we near the end of the season VCMS Cross Country continues to be very successful!
At our meet hosted by Andover Central Tuesday, the team again earned four individual gold medals (Tylee Coleman, Trevor Russell, Avery Williams and Gavin Enriquez) as well as three first place team finishes and one second place team finish.
In addition to gold medals, the following athletes brought home hardware:
7th grade girls: Baylee Blasi, Leslie Perez and Lakelynn Soukup
7th grade boys: Kason Rector, Sam Scott, DJ Rader and Dylan Corcoran
8th grade girls: Emily Reffner, Rachel Garten, Clover Fazzini, Tatum Price, Lauren Woolsoncroft and Josie Peoples
8th grade boys: Christian Fowler, Lucas Younts and Cage Newton

The following athletes set a course PR - which was incredible on a very warm and windy day:
Leslie Perez, Lakelyn Soukup, Scarlett Yeager, Dylan Corcoran, DJ Rader, Kason Rector, and Sam Scott.

The next cross country race is Saturday, September 30th in Newton, beginning at 12:00pm.
