VCMS Cross Country has had great showings at their last two meets.

At the Goddard meet held at Lake Afton on Tuesday, September 12th, Valley ran away with the competition. Gold medalists were Tylee Coleman, Trevor Russell, Avery Williams and Gavin Enriquez. Team gold was also achieved in all four races, scoring with our top three runners in each race.
Additional medalists included, Baylee Blasi, Leslie Perez, Lakelynn Soukup, Makynzee Breth, Athina Nantisis, Addison Stucky, Presley Myers, Avery Schiffelbein, Jordyn Grayson and Scarlett Yeager. Samuel Scott, Kason Rector, DJ Rader, Dylan Corcoran, Kamden Downs, and Arman Amos. Emily Reffner, Rachel Garten, Clover Fazzini, Tatum Price, Carly Cote, Lauren Woolsoncroft, Josie Peoples and Bethany Smith. Christian Fowler, Cage Newton, and Jacob Martin.

On Saturday, September 9th they were in Wellington. At the Wellington meet they earned three individual gold medals as well as two team golds. Individual gold went to Tylee Coleman, Trevor Russell and Avery Williams. Team gold went to 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls. Additionally, 7th grade girls placed third and 8th grade boys placed second as a team.
Most of the team improved from the previous meet and recorded personal best times at Wellington, they thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful morning weather.
