Valley Center Middle School hosted their Invitational on Tuesday, September 5th at Valley Point Golf Course. It was a warm and windy day and many athletes excelled. Tylee Coleman, Avery Williams and Gavin Enriquez earned individual gold medals in their respective races. As a team, 7th grade girls, 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls placed 2nd overall and 8th grade boys placed 3rd.
There were highlights from all the races and many members of the team earned medals and ran personal best times. The coaching staff is looking forward to seeing both individual and team growth as we continue throughout this season. The next race for VCMS CC is Saturday, September 9th in Wellington.
