Hello hornet family! The JV girls are almost at the final stretch of the 2025-2026 season!
We competed for our second league games against the Salina South Cougars and the Derby Panthers on Tuesday, 10/7.

A lot of celebration happening on Panther grounds as they celebrated their seniors and we also recognized our volleyball officials for official appreciation month.

Our first match against Salina South started a little rocky as we began the first set, but eventually we pulled it together and got the win the first set to start off the evening. Our second set we began trying to play more scrappy and moving the cougars around to finalize the win in two.

After the Panther Seniors were celebrated, we played against Derby in our 5-1 that we tried over the weekend. We played super competitive against them the first set but struggled to get out of our serve receive rotations and lost momentum. Overall, they played together and competitively so this coach is still proud of the work they have put in.

We will be finishing our season next week 10/13-10/18 with a busy schedule. We will travel to Maize South High on Tuesday to compete versus the Mavericks and the Hutchinson Salthawks. Thursday we will travel again to Campus to compete with the Colts and the Andover Trojans. Our season will finish off at the JV league tournament being hosted by Maize South High School.
